The Knoxville School Board reached contract agreements last week with two union groups. Superintendent Dr. Randy Flack says that the board agreed to a contract with the Knoxville Education Association that will raise wages next year by about 3.6%, which is right about at the state average. The board also agreed to a three year contract with the Local Teamsters #238, which is the group that represents the teacher associates. Dr. Flack says that next year, their wages will increase by around 2.6%.
